The reflective coating reflects back most of the radiant heat to the source. The felt lining has truly excellent conductive heat protection. Strapped thumbs for rugged durability and 4” gauntlet cuffs. Kevlar® sewn throughout for seam integrity and ability to withstand spark, as Kevlar® will not drip or melt around open flame. Critical seams are welt protected.
